A lot of what gets sold to smaller markets is a template with the colors changed and a bill that assumes you will not shop around. That is not a distance problem, it is a care problem, and being far away does not make me any more likely to do it.
The build is a call, then a working site you can click through inside a couple of weeks, then rounds until it does what the business needs. Hosting, security, and the small edits that pile up are all inside the monthly price rather than billed at you later.
